VEGENERO PRIVACY AND SECURITY STATEMENT

Vegenero is committed to protecting your privacy. This Statement of Privacy applies to the Vegenero web site and governs data collection and usage at all Vegenero sites and services; it does not apply to other online or offline sites, products or services. Please read the Vegenero Statement of Privacy.

This privacy policy explains how we handle information about your visit to our site.

COOKIES

Your shopping bag contents are stored in “cookies.” A cookie is a small file placed on your computer’s hard drive by a web site. As you shop, the “cookie” records each purchase and the price in your shopping bag. Without the cookies, the shopping cart cannot “remember” all of your items. As a result each time you leave the cart to continue shopping, the items disappear. Cookies will also remember the items added to your cart so when you return at a later time they will still be there. Vegenero DOES NOT store any personal information in the cookie. A cookie in no way gives sites access to your computer hardware or software or any information about you. We simply create a cookie to store the items in your shopping cart.

COLLECTION AND USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

When you checkout through our online shopping cart we ask for information needed to process your order or to contact you with any questions we have regarding your order. If you choose to “create an account” our systems will retain only your shipping and billing information through the use of cookies so it will be available when you return to shop again. We do not save credit card information in our system.

Vegenero does not sell, rent or lease its customer lists to third parties.

Vegenero may access and/or disclose your personal information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on Vegenero or the site; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of Vegenero, including its Web site; or (c) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of Vegenero or the public.

NEWSLETTER

Vegenero will be offering an email newsletter. You will automatically be added to our newsletter list unless you choose to opt-out. As you go through the checkout process there is an “email opt-in” box located the bottom of the “shipping” page. Please unclick the box to indicate that you do not want to be included in our email newsletter. If you do agree to be part of our newsletter, you can change your mind at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of the newsletter.

SECURITY OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

Vegenero is committed to protecting the security of your personal information. We do not store any credit or debit card numbers. We process online payments by a trusted third party payment gateway – PayPal. We do not save credit card information in our system.

CHANGES TO THIS STATEMENT

Vegenero will occasionally update this Statement of Privacy to reflect company and customer feedback. If there are material changes to this Statement or in how Vegenero will use your personal information, Vegenero will prominently post such changes prior to implementing the change. Vegenero encourages you to periodically review this Statement to be informed of how Vegenero is protecting your information.
