What are Shampoo Soap Bars?

Solid Shampoo Bars are simply wholesome goodies for your hair. They are an all natural conditioning shampoo in a solid bar form that is specially formulated with vegan plant oils, butters, botanicals and therapeutic essentials oils that nourish your hair and scalp. Shampoo bars have rich lather due to ingredients like coconut oil, and castor oil, and they naturally clean and condition your scalp leaving your hair soft, shiny and smelling good. Our shampoo bars do not contain any artificial fragrance, color, preservatives, alcohol, parabens, sodium laurel sulfate, DEA, propylene or any synthetic additives.

How to use a Shampoo Soap Bar?  

Wet the bar and your hair and stroke onto hair from scalp to ends in a combing motion like you would with liquid shampoo. Massage scalp and hair until a good lather forms and rinse out well. Keep your shampoo bar in a cool, dry place between uses.

Will the Shampoo Bar leave a residue?  

You need to give shampoo bars about a week to rid your hair of the old residues from your store-bought shampoo. Shampoo bar soaps do not strip hair in the same way as detergent based shampoos you may notice your hair feeling different after washing than you may be accustomed. This is perfectly normal, you’ll love how your hair feels after it dries. Your hair will be much softer than when you were using liquid shampoo if you give time for your hair to adjust.

I recommend using using a final rinse of water and vinegar to also restore the pH. You basically use 100gr water with 1-4 Tablespoons apple cider vinegar. Leave on hair 1 minute and massage very well throughout hair & scalp. I love shampoo bars as I don’t need a conditioner, but I do need to use a vinegar rinse on my hair as I have very thick hair.

The shampoo bars are superfatted and thus contain extra oils and butters to nourish your hair. If you rub the shampoo bars on your hair (like I do), you are coating your hair with superfatted soap. If you do not lather up really well, you will have areas that remain coated with the soap oils, which will; make it look “waxy.” so rinse rinse rinse is important. I highly recommend vinegar rinses to get rid of that waxy feeling… Shampoo bars are amazing but need time to adjust to each individual hair!!! There are people who swear by it that they don’t need to rinse, but my hair needs a vinegar rinse…
